Other important element that influences photography is lighting. A same landscape taken at different day hours and in different year station will show impressive colourful varieties.  We have to interact with clear lights, with the dark, the glittering, clouds, the sun rays filtering through the foliage; everything should be taken into account. 

One item anyone should take into account is light measurement. In most of the cases the matrix measure will be the right one, since this makes it possible to measure the whole scenario where lights and shadows share a whole scene.

Nevertheless, we will face situations where measuring is more complicated and we should make up our minds and measure in one or other zone. In these cases, the right thing to do is to measure the areas where there is more light since darker areas may be recovered which is almost impossible when zones turned out to be burnt.
